Supermodel


Self-initiated project inspired by my experience of creating social media content and strategy for a STEM workshop organisation. Today, only 30% of all of the world’s researchers are women. More girls are in school today than ever before but too many of them are held back by biases, social norms and expectations influencing the quality of the education they receive and the subjects they study. This brand is a nonprofit inspiring girls to engage with STEM subjects from an early age and consequently pursue careers in science.

Name & Logo
‘Supermodel’ is a play on the conventional understanding of Supermodels in the beauty and fashion world where, unlike in STEM, girls constitute a majority. The logo uses visual elements of an atom and the patch design is reminiscent of old Scouts patches to signal the pride in belonging to the group.




Brand Guidelines
The book of brand guidelines is an exhaustive document that not only shows Supermodel’s visuals and how to use them correctly but also states the brand’s mission and tone of voice which is used to deliver that mission.






Website
The brand’s website is a user-friendly tool to educate, engage and get people involved in Supermodel’s mission. Targeted at girls’ parents and guardians, it shows the best way to get your child excited about STEM.
